THE MOBILE SHOWERS

The Showers Program:

• 4 shower shifts a week: The service is available multiple times a week, providing consistent access for those in need.
• 20-minute showers: Each individual is given a set amount of time for a shower, ensuring everyone gets a chance to use the facility.
• Towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner: The service provides all the necessary toiletries for a complete shower experience.
• Hygiene kits: These may include additional items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, and other personal hygiene products.
• Snacks/Food: Sometimes, food or snacks are provided to help meet immediate needs beyond hygiene.
• Clothing closet by appointment: Individuals can access clean clothing, typically by scheduling an appointment, to further support their needs. Clothing closet is open Tuesday & Thursday from 10 AM – 2 PM at Walnut Park.
• Coordinated Entry Assessments: The Coordinated Entry System is designed to efficiently match people experiencing homelessness to available supportive housing programs.
